INSTALLATION
GUIDE
Determine the Installation Area:
Before installing the PVC pipe, identify the installation
area and check for and remove any obstacles.
Measure Pipe Length:
Measure the length of PVC pipe needed based on
your requirements and mark it accordingly.
Purchase Materials:
Buy the PVC pipes, fittings, glue, and other materials according to your measurements.
Prepare Tools:
Gather the necessary tools, such as a saw, ruler, and
glue gun.
Cut the Pipe:
Use a saw to cut the PVC pipe to the measured
length. Ensure the cut is clean and free of burrs.
Smooth any rough edges with a file or scraper, and
bevel the outer edge at a 15° angle.
Prepare Fittings:
Choose the appropriate fittings, such as elbows or tees,
as needed.
Using Glue:
Before gluing, test-fit the parts, inserting them to about
3/4 of the socket depth. Once the test fit is successful,
clean the socket and pipe ends of any moisture or dust
with a cloth. Remove any grease with acetone. Using
glue with a brush, first to the socket and then to the
pipe end, and quickly insert them together with a slight
twisting motion to ensure even distribution of the glue.
The connection should be solid within 30-60 minutes.
Connect Pipes:
Connect the glued pipe to the fittings and ensure a firm
connection.
Wait for the glue to cure:
Follow the glue manufacturer's instructions and wait
for the glue to cure. After the adhesive has cured,
install support brackets but avoid over-tightening.
When using metal brackets, place rubber pads where
they contact the pipe.
Test Connections:
Perform a pressure test to ensure the connections are
secure. Seal one end of the pipe, apply pressure, and
check for leaks.
Check Functionality:
Verify the entire system's functionality, such as proper
water flow and absence of unusual noises.
Corrective Actions:
If leaks or other issues are found, correct them
immediately.
Clean the Work Area:
After installation, clean up the work area, removing
all excess materials and tools.
Regular Maintenance:
Periodically inspect the pipe system, promptly repairing
any issues to maintain good condition.
