偉不忘救國
的弘一大師,在云游弘法及著述度眾外,中國家的榮導(dǎo)存亡更常系念于心。1927年,彌漫著消滅佛教的議論,弘一大師心急如除佛教浩動(dòng)各方奔走。1937年七七事變后師自青島講律結(jié)束,般然回到深受戰(zhàn)火威1、他曾傷心地向弟子們表示:“吾人所吃的栗,所飲的是溫陵之水,身為佛子,于此能共纖國難于萬一,不能為釋迦如來張點(diǎn)不如一只狗子,狗子尚能為主守門,吾用,而猶腦受食,能無愧于心乎廠后戰(zhàn)張,各方好友動(dòng)他避人內(nèi)地,他卻“為護(hù)怕炮彈”而堅(jiān)留不去。面對(duì)日本帝國主義他作《紅菊花偶》,表達(dá)自己狗教流血的又提出“念佛不忘救國教國必須念佛”號(hào)召全國佛教徒反抗日本的侵略,并把自房室題名為“狗教室”,準(zhǔn)備隨時(shí)“舍身
