In 1869, Armand David, a French man, discovered the world' s first giant panda in Ya’ an. Now giant pandas have been given to many countries as a “national gif" , 18 of which are from Ya’ an. 雅安高新技術產(chǎn)業(yè)園區(qū)（籌）以“高新技術策源地、科技創(chuàng)新綜合體、創(chuàng)新人才集聚地”為戰(zhàn)略目標，以“山水相融科創(chuàng)新城”為發(fā)展定位，規(guī)劃總面積10.35平方公里，其中核心區(qū)（草壩創(chuàng)新產(chǎn)業(yè)片區(qū)）總面積7.57平方公里，規(guī)劃構建“一廊、兩核、兩區(qū)、七組團”發(fā)展布局。
